Meals and Dining Dollars are accessible by Students who have a dining plan.

Meals can be used at the Blackburn Café and the Bethune Annex Café.

Please login to Bison One Card Portal to view your Dining Plan (which is identified as a Board Plan).

Students, faculty and staff may load Bison Bucks to their Bison One Card and use the card like a declining balance debit card at various locations.

Bison Bucks are loadable funds available via your Bison One Card (not part of the student Dining Plans). Students, faculty and staff may load Bison Bucks to their Bison One Card to use like a debit card at various locations.

Summer program participants and summer stay guests can receive a Bison One Card and use Bison Bucks. At the end of your summer program or stay, your Bison Bucks will be disabled, and any unused Bison Bucks will be forfeited and or non-refundable. For more information regarding Summer Program use of the BisonCard, contact the Bison One Card Office.

Note: Discover, MasterCard, Visa, and American Express cards are the only acceptable methods of payment.

How to add funds to Bison Bucks:

1. Login to the Bison One Card Portal or use the Atrium Campus App.

2. Click on Make a Bison Bucks Deposit on the left side of the screen.

3. Choose amount to be deposited.

4. Continue to Payment.

5. You will be redirected to a secure payment processor to complete the transaction.

Guest Deposit 

Guests can add funds directly to a Bison Bucks account.

How can a parent, relative or friend make a deposit into your Bison Bucks account?

1. You must grant guest access to deposit funds into your account.

2. Login to the Bison One Card Portal

3. Click Personalize / Grant Guest Access.

4. Click "Add" to add your guest. You can have maximum 10 guest.

5. Provide the guest's email and select the permission(s) you want them to have (*Guest

Access)

Bison Bucks Accepted Here

When shopping off-campus, look for the “Bison Bucks Accepted Here” sign.

Resident students* receive an allocation of laundry points for each semester.Laundry points is a stored value account. If you use all laundry points provided before the end of the semester, you will have to use your Bison Bucks to pay for laundry services. You can add money to your Bison Bucks account with a credit card by logging into the Bison One Card Portal and clicking on Make a Bison Bucks Deposit.

Each residence hall has a laundry room, for the purposes of washing and drying clothes.

Resident students that live in these residence halls will receive Laundry Points:

You can make purchases at the Howard University Bookstore with your Book Voucher account. 
Your Book Voucher account is accessible via your Bison One Card. 
Transfer excess funds from your student account into your Book Voucher account by logging into BisonWeb, clicking on "Student Services", and "Book Voucher Request". The maximum amount that you can transfer for a book voucher is $750 per semester.

We recommend that you allow up to 2 hours for the request to be received and funds available.  Please check your balance by logging into the Bison One Card Portal

Student athletes with a book scholarship can make purchases at the Howard University Bookstore with your Athletic Book Voucher account.
Your Athletic Book Voucher account is accessible via your Bison One Card.
The Bison One Card Office and Athletics coordinate the deposit of funds into Athletic Book Voucher accounts.

Note: Student athletes are provided designated date(s) and time(s) for the purchase of books with their Athletic Book Voucher account.

Dentistry students can make their dentistry books and instruments purchases at the Howard University Bookstore with your Dental Book Voucher account.
Your Dental Book Voucher account is accessible via your Bison One Card.
The Bison One Card Office and Dentistry coordinate the deposit of funds into Dental Book Voucher accounts.

Note: Dentistry students are provided a designated date(s) and time(s) for the purchase of dentistry books and instruments with their Dental Book Voucher account.

HUH Function is a stored value account which the Howard University Hospital manages.
