Student Survey on Transportation Needs

The University is soliciting input on our participation in the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority’s (WMATA) UPass program. This program allows area college students to have access to unlimited travel on WMATA bus and rail at reduced rates, with costs usually charged as part of tuition and fees expenses.

We are soliciting feedback from all current students on their usage of WMATA and campus-based transportation options to get a sense of whether or not the program meets your needs for convenience, cost, and access. Depending on your interest and the cost, we could institute this program during the Spring 2022 semester, so please share your feedback as soon as possible so that we can have ridership information.

Please consider providing answers to our brief survey to support the University’s assessment of student investment in this program.

Even if you do not take public transportation, please complete the survey as your answers help us to obtain information that WMATA uses to inform rates and service offerings.
