I want to purchase items from the bookstore for my university department or organization. What do I need to do?

  • First, contact Barnes & Noble customer service (202-238-2650) to receive a quote for your items.
  • Next, if you are not using the pcard you will need to submit a purchase requisition to Barnes & Noble College in PeopleSoft to obtain a purchase order for your merchandise.
  • Additional information, including vendor ID, is available on the Auxiliary Enterprises website (http://auxiliary.howard.edu) on the Campus Stores page under University Departments.

How do I request donations from the university? 

Please visit the Auxiliary Enterprises website to access the Donation Request form. The form is available on the Campus Stores page under Donation Requests. The Auxiliary Enterprises Office will direct your request to the appropriate department.

Does the bookstore offer any special discounts? 

Yes. Howard University Departmental purchases receive a 20% discount. Howard University Faculty receives a 10% discount on purchases. Additional discounts and promotions are offered periodically to all of customers. For the most up to date information on discounts and promotions visit the bookstore’s website (http://howard.bncollege.com/).   Customers may also sign up to receive special emails about sales, discounts, events, giveaways, etc.
